goodbye 2012

2012 was a good year for me, well for the most part . I got a lot of things out the way like a lot of work 2012 was a year that I changed my acedimic goals I never really cared much for school but turning 17 and still being in the 9^th grade killed me it just didn’t sound right I knew what I  had to do . I came to charlestown got into this diploma plus program and just got right to work, no slacking I always knew that I was smart and cabable of getting honor roll and that’s exactly what I did , I am so proud of myself and so is my family. This had a huge impact on my life because now im 17 in the 11^th grade doing good if I would of never incountered this program I would still be stuck in the 9^th grade and not going to school . I also knew that turning 17 I needed my own things so I could be dependant of myself so I went out and got a job excited to say I kept my job the whole 2012, very positive and active .Another positive this that im very greatful for that happened in 2012 was my aunt survivng breast cancer when nobody thought she could make it , this has a huge impact on me because Im happy that I don’t have to go to a grave yard to visit my favorite aunt and that I was call her when ever I need her or just wanna talk . I cant imagine life without her so im just thankful for that . Tho 2012 was a good year I had my downs just like everybody else . On august 1^st I got a phone call stating that one of my friends had been shot in the head 2 times and that he wasn’t going to make it this was a hard time for me and I didn’t think I was going to stay strong but I had to stay strong for andre . cause he would for me , this had a huge impact on my life because me and andre was really close and he didn’t deserve to die I feel better now knowing that they caught the person who killed him and justic was served and knowing that theres once less killer an one less gun off the streets makes everybody happier and safer . His victory, after a brutally expensive and hard slog of a campaign, continued his history-making story. Now he was not just the first African-American president, but the first African-American president to win re-election and the third president in succession to be elected to two terms, the first such run since the Founding Fathers' trio of Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe, in the era when blacks were enslaved and not allowed to vote. The only big change I can really say I made was my grades and getting my grades up . I am most looking forward to seeing my first neice who was due on january 26 but is still holding on she is coming any day I jjust cant wait to meet and spoil her with my love . one goal I have this year is for school and its to contue to do what im doing stay out of trouble and graduate high achool . im ready .
